Sirius appears to have only one star visible, but it is a group of two stars, one of which is larger and the other is smaller, the larger star is named Sirius A, while the other is named Sirius B. Due to this distance, one can see. Of these two, Sirius A is more important because it appears brightest in the sky of the earth.
1). This star is 8.6 light years away from us. At night it appears northeast or sometimes northwest from our sky.
2). We see Venus shining more at night, but it is a planet, after this only the brightest Sirius star will be seen.

4). It is about twice larger than the Sun. Its light is about 3200 Celsius more than our Sun.

6). Its relative revolution is -1.4 Magnitude, which is the second fastest shining star. Which is seen in our sky.
7). It is also known as Vyadh . In Sanskrit, Vyadha's full name is "mrigavyadh", which means "deer hunt", also called dog star.
8). The radius of Sirius A is 72% more than the radius of our Sun, and is also almost twice the weight.
9). Sirius B is a white sow whose entire fuel has been exhausted. It is in the "Mahaswan Planetarium", which is called "Canis Major" in English.
10). Earth's star is slightly smaller, its radius is about 5900 KM, while our Earth's radius is 7,371 KM.
11). Sirius B is slightly smaller than our Earth but it is heavier than the Sun.
12). Sirius A has an absolute record of +1.42, while Sirius B has an absolute record of +11.16.
13). The gravitational force of Sirius B is about 350000 times more than the Earth, i.e. if an object weighs 3 grams, Sirius B will have 1000 kg.

15). Sirius is also the closest white dwarf star on Earth.
16). About 10,000 Celsius of the surface of Sirius A star, which is twice the surface temperature of the Sun, Sirius B has a surface temperature of 25000 Celsius, which is 5 times higher than the surface temperature of the Sun.

20). After about 90 to one lakh years from today, it will slowly go away from our solar system, due to which its light will start to decrease. But even then it will remain the brightest shining star in our sky for about 210000 years.
